TorquaratoridaeB sp. 2

Description

General: Transparent body, high dome proboscis and extra-wide lips very broad collar, no genital wings visible, moderately-sinuate intestines, longer and narrower than TorquaratoridaeB sp. 1, pigment on anterior trunk is light brown.



Geographic Information

Ocean range (global): South Axial, Vance Seamount, President Jackson Seamount C, Taney and Davidson seamounts.

Published depth range: 1674 - 2847 m

Habitat description: Benthic, hard substrate (sedimented lava).
