Description

General: Dark v on the side of the head, upside down U shape (S. saxicola is the opposite), dark spot over gill cover

Size: to 45 cm



Geographic Information

Habitat description: Benthic.

Published depth range: 25 - 495 m, but commonly 100 - 30 m.

Ocean range (global): Aleutian Islands to San Digeo, California.
