Description

General: Difficult to identify in situ. May be white and resemble S. aurora and S. diploproa; look for red freckling on the top of the head).

Size: to 52 cm



Geographic Information

Ocean range (global): In California, most abundant south of Point Conception.

Published depth range: 174 - 274 m

Habitat description: Demersal.
