Description

General: Compare to the speckled rockfish (S. ovalis).

Size: to 59 cm



Geographic Information

Ocean range (global): Gulf of Alaska to northern Baja.

Published depth range: 24 - 549 m, most commonly 140 - 210 m.

Habitat description: Demersal, well above the bottom (may be schooling), above high relief substrata.
