General: Adipose fin far back on caudal peduncle, relatively large and long; pectorals small.

Size: Maximum length 16.5 cm.



Geographic Information

Ocean range (global): North Pacific from Iwate Prefecture, Japan to the Bering Sea and British Columbia to California.

Published depth range: 0 - 6600 m

Habitat description: Bathypelagic.
