Psathyrometra fragilis

Description

General: Indistinguishable on video from Florometra serratissima (0-420 m) and Tonrometra (~2000 m). Can be brownish-red or may appear white. Refer to depth ranges.



Geographic Information

Ocean range (global): Pacific Rim from southern Japan northward to the Aleutian Islands and southward to Monterey Bay, California; Gulf of Panama.

Published depth range: 439 - 2903 m

Habitat description: Benthic.
