General: Left valve more convex, radial lirae more prominent than commarginal. Right valve with only commarginal lirae.

Size: to 20 mm.

Habitat description: Benthic, soft sediment.

Ocean range (global): Tuff Abyssal Plain, Oregon to Cortez Bank, CA.

Published depth range: 1900 - 4882 m
