Description

Size: Carapace length to 10.2 cm.

General: Carapace slightly longer than wide. Scarlet red with large spines elevated areas and lateral margins. Flattened walking legs.

Habitat description: Benthic.

Ocean range (global): North Pacific: Bering Sea to Cortez Bank (Channel Islands chain). Japan.

Published depth range: 850 - 2379 m
