General: Large, orange, right claw (bearing a large triangular protusion) is much larger that the left.



Geographic Information

Published depth range: 90 - 1400 m

Ocean range (global): Bering Sea to California.

Habitat description: Benthic, soft sediment.



Additional Information

Taxonomist assessment: L. Kuhnz ID'd from MARS site; housed in large Neptunea and Bathybemix shells.
