Narella bowersi

Description

General: Long, white, thin. Stems eminate from basal branches. Polyps are very tiny and probably cannot be seen on video, rather it is the calyces that are observable in close-ups.



Geographic Information

Ocean range (global): Hawaiian Islands and Pensacola Seamount; Northeast Pacific seamounts (Endeavour and Vance) off British Columbia and Washington.

Published depth range: 1218 - 2500 m

Habitat description: Benthic, hard substrate.
