Description

Size: Bell 8-20 mm tall.

General: Gelatinous apical projection; large, frilly mouth; four broad, ribbon-like radial canals; laterally compressed tentacle bulbs and 12-48 tentacles; manubrium red, yellow, or brown.



Geographic Information

Habitat description: Found in coastal water late spring and summer.
