Geryonia proboscidalis

Author: Forsskal, 1775

Description

Size: Bell up to 8 cm in diameter.

General: Long, conical peduncle with a small stomach. Six radial canals continue all the way down the peduncle. There are 12 tentacles, alternating 6 long and 6 short.



Geographic Information

Ocean range (global): Tropical to subtropical, but can occasionally be found as far north as Central California.
