Description

Size: to 24.8 cm

General: Large, underslung mouth, silvery. Compare to Sardinopsis sagax (sardine) which have a series of black spots on the sides.



Geographic Information

Ocean range (global): Gulf of Alaska to southern Baja California.

Published depth range: to 310 m

Habitat description: Pelagic.
